Dr. Hsiang C John

Dr John Hsiang is a gastroenterologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. His clinic interests are in gastrointestinal diseases, fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis. Prior to joining private practice, he was a consultant gastroenterologist at SingHealth cluster hospitals. He graduated from Otago Medical School, New Zealand and then completed his specialist training and obtained the fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He furthered his research career and post-specialist training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and obtained a doctorate degree in hepatology research on the topic of chronic liver diseases, with a focus on hepatitis B, type 2 diabetes and statins.
