Dr. Karmen Wong

Dr Karmen Wong is regarded as one of Asia’s foremost oncologists with close to 20 years of clinical practice. She pioneered the first multi-disciplinary breast cancer treatment in Singapore some 15 years ago. This involved establishing a platform for treatment in other cancers with different disciplines of doctors. Dr Wong also initiated the bone marrow transplant programme in solid tumour in Singapore in 1997. She spearheaded the multi-disciplinary tumour board and Breast Cancer Clinic in Singapore General Hospital. Dr Wong’s sub-specialty interests are in cancer chemotherapy in breast, gastro-intestinal, lung and HIV related cancers.
