Ng Pei Lin Patricia

Dr Patricia Ng is a dermatologist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.

She manages general and aesthetic dermatology. She also has special interests in medical dermatology and immunodermatology with extensive experience in managing patients with skin manifestations of connective tissue diseases such as lupus erythematosus and dermatomyositis, cutaneous vasculitis and immunobullous diseases such as pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid.

Kim Guowei

Asst Prof Kim has a strong interest in innovation in surgery, and strongly believes that keeping abreast with advances in technology is quintessential to give Singaporean patients access to the best medical care available.

To this end, he embraces technology such as artificial intelligence, robotics to improve existing techniques to improve patient outcomes. One such example would be the successful performance of robotic telesurgery over a distance of more than 5,000 km between Singapore and Japan in October 2023. He also is an early adopter of new techniques, being part of the team that performed the first Pressurised Intraperitoneal Aerosolised Chemotherapy (PIPAC) procedure in Asia in 2016, conducting several first-in-the-world trials on PIPAC, and also being the first to successfully perform mediastinoscopy assisted transhiatal esophagectomy (MATHE), for patients in whom conventional esophagectomy approaches were not feasible.

He has also performed the first endoscopic full thickness resection (EFTR) for submucosal tumours of the stomach and the first endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty at NUH for bariatric patients.

Tay Miah Hiang

Dr Tay Miah Hiang is an oncologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.

He is experienced in treating prostate, kidney, testicular and bladder cancers, as well as gynaecological cancers like ovarian and uterine/cervical cancers. He is also skilled in treating gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers, lung cancer and brain tumours.

Chan Beng Kuen

Dr Chan pioneered the use of arthroscopy in treating scapulothoracic pain in Singapore and specialises in minimally invasive upper limb procedures, which minimises post-operative pain, morbidity and hospital stay. He has a personal series of more than 500 arthroscopic shoulder procedures and these include arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, subacromial decompression, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, capsulotomy for frozen shoulders and lateral clavicle resection. His other clinical specialties include fractures/nonunion clavicle, fracture-dislocations around the shoulder joint, elbow and wrist, shoulder replacement surgery, treatment of complex fractures of the distal radius, tennis elbow surgery and nerve entrapment release. He also performs arthroscopic and open procedures for sports and degenerative conditions of the knee.

Tham Weng Keong Ivan

Dr Ivan Tham is a radiation oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.

He has special interests in brain tumours, head and neck cancers, lung cancers, and general radiation oncology. He also has experience with a variety of treatment techniques including stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, image-guided radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, 3D conformal radiotherapy, and brachytherapy.
