Chan Beng Kuen
Dr Chan pioneered the use of arthroscopy in treating scapulothoracic pain in Singapore and specialises in minimally invasive upper limb procedures, which minimises post-operative pain, morbidity and hospital stay. He has a personal series of more than 500 arthroscopic shoulder procedures and these include arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, subacromial decompression, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, capsulotomy for frozen shoulders and lateral clavicle resection. His other clinical specialties include fractures/nonunion clavicle, fracture-dislocations around the shoulder joint, elbow and wrist, shoulder replacement surgery, treatment of complex fractures of the distal radius, tennis elbow surgery and nerve entrapment release.
