Paul Chiam

Paul Chiam is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.

He is one of the few surgeons in Singapore with experience in performing transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR).

Chiam subspecialises in interventional cardiology, and previously spent 18 months at the Lenox Hill Heart and Vascular Institute of New York gaining hands-on experience in complex coronary angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, peripheral artery angioplasty, and structural heart disease (heart valve) interventions.

Dinesh Nair

Dr Dinesh Nair is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore.

He has been in medical practice for more than 25 years, and in the specialist area of cardiology for more than 20 years.

He trained in advanced interventional cardiology at the Helios Heart Centre in Siegburg, Germany, which is known for its trials of cardiac devices and procedures including percutaneous valve implantation, novel arterial stents and coronary imaging techniques.

Lim Yean Teng

Dr Lim Yean Teng is a cardiologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. His clinical interests include angioplasty, balloon valvuloplasty, coronary artery disease, drug-eluting stenting, hypercholesterolemia and hypertension.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 1983. After completing his training in Internal Medicine, he underwent cardiology training at the Epworth Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Cardiac Department at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He then spent 18 months at the Division of Cardiovascular Disease, Department of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA and received further training in the field Interventional and Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr Melvin Tan has been a practising cardiologist for the past thirteen years, and is now a consultant cardiologist in private practice with visiting appointments at the National University Hospital and National Heart Centre in Singapore.
