Peng Yeong Pin

Dr YP Peng graduated from the National University of Singapore Medical School in 1993 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Edinburgh in 1999. He obtained his specialist accreditation as a Hand Surgeon from the Ministry of Health (Singapore) in 2002. Dr Peng’s clinical interests are in hand and wrist trauma surgery, replantation and reconstructive microsurgery. He also provided microsurgical support to the liver transplant teams. He has published on new surgical flap techniques in the lower limb and was on the teaching faculty for flaps of the hand at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand conference. His other clinical interest covers care for degenerative conditions of the hands. A strong believer that good clinical outcomes will result in cost effective treatment in hand surgery, he continues to pursue outcome based clinical research.

Tan Puay Ling

Dr Tan Puay Ling is a hand surgeon currently practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. Dr Tan’s special interests are in hand and wrist arthroscopy and hand reconstruction.

Dr Tan completed her medical degree at the National University of Singapore in 1998 and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002. She completed the Master of Medicine in Surgery (NUS) in 2002 and obtained her specialist accreditation by the Ministry of Health as a Hand surgeon following that.
