Dr. Foo Chek Siang

Dr Foo Chek Siang is a general surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. He has special interests in bariatric surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and upper gastrointestinal surgery. As part of his subspeciality training, Dr Foo was trained in advanced laparoscopic techniques in gastrointestinal surgery at the Institute of Laparoscopic Surgery in Bordeaux, France. Subsequently, through the HMDP award, he pursued a one-year fellowship at the St George Hospital, Kogarah-Sydney, Australia in 2008, where he honed his skills in advanced laparoscopy and upper gastrointestinal and bariatric work.
