Dr. Mark Fernandes

Mark Fernandes is a gastroenterologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, Singapore. He has a clinical interest in liver disease and digestive cancer screening. Fernandes’ main areas of clinical expertise include viral hepatitis (including hepatitis B and C), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, weight management, liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma and Fibroscan. He is also an endoscopist and is experienced at therapeutic endoscopy including haemostasis in gastrointestinal bleeding, variceal branding, polypectomy, ligation of piles and feeding tube insertion (PEG).
