Dr. Ng Choon Yong Alvin

Dr Ng Choon Yong Alvin is a respiratory physician and intensivist at Parkway East Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, and Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He has special interests in obstructive airway diseases like asthma and COPD, as well as invasive mechanical ventilation for ICU patients. He believes passionately in providing personalised patient-centric care to his patients. Dr Alvin Ng was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Scholarship in 1996 to study medicine in the National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated from NUS in 2001 and went on to train in internal medicine and became both a specialist in respiratory medicine and intensive care medicine.
